Friends, family, colleagues, subscribers, and more - welcome to Next Round. However you’ve managed to find your way to this newsletter, just know I appreciate you being here. The world of venture capital is exciting and fascinating but is also confusing and nebulous. I only just turned 24, but through this newsletter, I hope to explore just one company a week that has fundraised and some of its drivers. As you kindly accompany me on this journey, it’s only right I tell you a bit about myself.
I was born and raised in Westchester County, NY.
I have two wonderful parents and a brilliant younger sister who is extremely intelligent, hardworking, and outgoing. I love my family very, very much.
I went to Duke University (2020) and majored in Computer Science (B.S.) and earned a Certificate in Innovation & Entrepreneurship.
I work at Morgan Stanley as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Technology Coverage Group in NYC (go Tech East!) (2020 - 2022). I helped out with a number of inspiring M&A, IPO, and debt transactions during the course of my time here. Some notable ones include:

I love cooking, working out and exercising, spending time with friends, trying new restaurants, watching movies (especially Marvel), reading self-help books, traveling, playing soccer and tennis, and more.
I’m still figuring out what I want to do after banking but I am passionate about the world of venture capital and growth equity and want to help founders build their visions and revolutionize new industries. This newsletter is meant to be casual, fun, interesting, and low-stakes. There will be jokes and memes involved, as well as a grammatical error or two. I’ll walk through a company that has recently raised and piqued my interest, and I’ll also toss in some details from my personal life. There’s more to life than just work!
